Revlon Colour Stay Liquid Eyeliner Review
Welcome back to Annmarie’s Beauty Blog. Today I have a review for you all, I know I have not done one in a while. So, lets not wait any longer.
I have tried many, many brands of eye-liner. From the cheap and cheerful to the high-end hotties. Today I am reviewing, Revlon Colour Stay Liquid Eye-liner. And this actually surprised me, the reason for this is the little applicator. Read on for the full review and to find out more about this applicator.
Revlon has done many amazing innovative products. Even their ad’s are freakin amazing, and I, like thousands of other people out there have tried lots of Revlon products. This is not the first eye liner I have tried either, I actually wear one of their eye liners on a daily basis. So, I did have high hopes for this.
On unscrewing the lid, just like the Revlon eye liner’s before it, the applicator is attached to the lid, but, this applicator is nothing like any of the eye-liner I have wore by Revlon. This is in a very small circular design, it’s also very thin, I didn’t know what to make of it if I am being brutally honest, I had never seen another liquid eye liner like it.
However, I was pleasantly surprised. You can achieve a very straight slim line with it, the thinness of the applicator makes application super easy as well. You don’t have to worry about your line ending up super thick, lets face it, we have all done it, woke up with the intention of having a super thin, sleek sharp line and ended up with a wiggly line that’s as thick as the heel on a loaf of bread. Well, this is honestly fool proof, the circular disc is amazing, its so thin, and would be great for anyone who has never applied liquid liner before.
The formula in this seems to be a little different to any of the other Revlon liquid liner’s I have tried before. It dries super quick, which is something else that seems to top the top 5 most hated things about liquid eye liners, and another positive for those liquid eyeliner virgins. To many times has my perfect cat flick been messed up by liquid eyeliner that has not dried properly!! Now, I don’t know if this is a positive but to me it is, when this dries it has a slightly shiny finish to it. I personally do not mind the shiny finish but I am aware that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, so, I thought I better give you matte finish ladies out there a bit of a heads up. That’s not to say that this is not worth a try even if you do prefer matte, I just though I would point it out. C’mon, you guys know me by now, I tell it like it is, whether that’s a positive or a negative, news flash….a review is meant to be an honestly written article!
